Sometimes stories begin with a single sentence. Sometimes they begin while I am quilting, gardening, or simply enjoying a quiet afternoon. This is where I share a few of those moments with you.

The Day an Idea Arrived

I don’t remember exactly what I was doing the day that Sharing Paradise came to me. But I do remember that I had been reading a romance novel and that my mind kept going back to a particular scene in the book. Suddenly, it was very clear to me how I wanted that scene to be. The more I thought about it, the more story my mind developed around that new scene. Finally, I realized that I had just created an entirely new story based on that one scene. I couldn’t wait to get it down on paper. I spent every free moment I had writing until the whole story was penned.
